120 Still Promotional Photographs split into 6 menus
Another fantastic extra feature and an example of how a photo gallery should be done! 120 promotional photos are here some I had and hadn't seen before. Definitely a worthwhile addition. All of the photos are selectable from 6 static menus with music.

What could have been a very uninteresting and pointless featurette turns out to be one of my most watched extras on the disc. I love it! The entire 4 minutes shows us how the composite and CG shots are made. Included are: the 2 shots of Nobus collar exploding; Kiriyama shooting Kusaka in the stomach; fixing a blinking Fujiyoushi; fixing the torch hitting Akamatsu in the face; deleting a building from behind the clinic; the shot of the lighthouse at sunset; Kiriyamas collar exploding; fixing the positioning of Kitanos knife in Fujiyoushis head for the Special Version; CG blood added to Satomi being shot in Special Version; CG blood added as Yutaka is shot in Special Version; CG blood added as Iijima is shot in Special Version; and CG blood added as Kawada is shot by Kiriyama for Special Version. That's a lot of scenes. The whole thing is done without sound effects but Radetsky March and Blue Danube Waltz play as the shots are shown.

Following on from the previous release, we now have part 2 of the making of the soundtrack. Exactly like part 1, it has no narration or commentary, just a camera pointed at the studio as Masamichi Amano does his thing. If this doesn't convince you to buy the album, I don't know what will!
