Cappawhite - Ceapach na bhFaoiteach - is a village nestled at the foothills of the Slieve Felim Mts, about eight miles from Tipperary town. Our school is situated on the outskirts of the village.

Cappawhite N.S. is over one hundred years old, originally built in 1897. Generations of children ( and teachers ! ) have passed through its doors and the school has now embarked on its second century of education . At present , we have five permanent teachers teachers,with a visiting support teacher and a resource teacher, and an enrollment of one hundred and twenty six pupils.
