Provisionals will sit in Commons – Trimble

SPEAKING in a BBC Radio Ulster interview as the Provo MPs were preparing to take their offices at Westminster on January 19, Unionist leader David Trimble confidently predicted that it won’t be long before his Provo colleagues actually take their seats.
“It will be interesting to see what explanation Sinn Féin will give as to how walking into Westminster is a step towards a united Ireland when it very obviously is a step in the opposite direction,” Trimble said. But then with the Provisionals – black is white and white is black.
