Photo Competition 2008
We are delighted to announce the new annual
“Comeragh Mountaineering Club Photo Competition”.
Please send up to five photographs from 2008 as entries.
The categories are:
a) The Natural Landscape
b) Mountain Activity with a Caption.
A member of the Enniscorthy Photo Society will be our Judge, and all entries must be sent to Sean Fogarty snjnfogarty@eircom.net with a subject line indicating the Comeragh Photo Competition.
All photographs will be uploaded to the Comeragh Mountaineering Club website for everyone to see. Please include in your considerations Photos from Club trips abroad, Club Trips in Ireland and regular Sunday Walks.
Closing date for all entries will be Monday the 1st of December (NOW EXTENDED TO FRIDAY 5th) and the winner will be announced at the Holy and Whiskey Walk on the 21st of December.

News Update
1. There will be a Club Christmas get together on Thursday 4th December at 8.30pm in the upstairs room in the Munster Bar. There will be mulled wine and finger food and mince pies, cost will be 10Euro per person. Paddy Scanlon will have some video highlights from Club activities during the year. Names to Brian Jacob or Karren Perrott.
2. Club Trip to Wales 2009. Out on Friday the 13th and back on Tuesday the 17th approx cost 280 to 300 Euro. Names to Brian Jacob by the 20th December.
3. Club Christmas raffle in aid of South East Mountain Rescue, draw cards available from Brian Jacob each Sunday, all Club members are asked to take one.The Draw will take place after the Holly and Hot Whiskey walk.
4. Club Photo competition closing date 5th December. Entries to Sean Fogarty by E-Mail or on disc and posted. The competition will be judged by members of the Enniscorthy camera club and all entries will be available to view on the Club Web site. The winners will be announced after the Holly and Hot Whiskey walk.
5. The Club will have a “Christmas” party and meal out at the end of January, details in January.
