"Sweet Thing"

This Clip was inspired by the visuals of the Movie Train Spotting and a track by David Bowie. I had always liked the Bowie track "Sweet Thing" and felt the Lyrics matched the movie well.

The video was edited on manual Video decks with the music track audio dubbed onto it.

The one section I was happy with was the overdose scene. The effect of  black and white  slowly fading to colour as the character comes to, (with a saxophone solo) was produced with very old equipment. An old Piano style video recorder. It had a really old "wired remote" control with a slide control to alter colour. How easy this all is on Computer..

Other than that I tried to match as many of the lyrics to the visuals as possible..

Apologies for the quality of some of the images but my video equipment is not the best. I know it is not cool to blame your tools, but there you go.

The final video was captured using the Diamond Crunch It capture card with the audio track  re-dubbed in Adobe Premiere 6 (as the original was in mono).
