First impressions on this game were poor. Graphically it feels "ported" from an inferior platform. The frame rate and textures just don't seem to be at a level they should be on the P.C.

I tested it on a smaller p.c. 1.4 ghz , 128 meg video card. This spec is much larger than the XBox home to which this title came from. So there should be no technical issue. I will however test on a larger machine and tag findings onto the end of this review.

After about 5 minutes of play , my visual concerns disappeared as I got lost in the world of Halo. The action and set pieces are excellent. The initiall attack on the ship remined me a lot of Half-Life (no bad thing here).

Overall great game that could have do with a face lift, not as pretty as we expect. One grump is the price in Europe 60.00 is very high for a p.c. title.
