Leabharlann©

Leabharlann is a Library Application designed especially for Irish Primary Schools.

Leabharlann is a library application designed to be simple enough for pupils to use, yet has all the features required by school and class libraries. Loans and Returns are handled with two keyboard taps. Once details of books are entered, ID numbers are assigned automatically. Print labels and stick to books. Quick Cataloguing can take the drudgery out of cataloguing many books, allowing up to 500 books to be catalogued each day. Enter details of pupils. Print labels, stick to small cards and use as library tickets.
Leabharlann keeps track of all loans allowing the following reports to be printed:
  • Today’s Loans
  • All Loans
  • All Books - grouped by shelving, Dewey code, category, etc.
  • Overdue Loans (all or specific classrooms)
  • Loan Histories for Pupils and Books

Search for books by authors, by keywords, by titles, by ISBN number and by ID number. Set the maximum number of books that may be borrowed, and the time period before books are regarded as overdue. Users of other SeaSoft applications, such as RegScoile, may transfer details of pupil records, by-passing the tedium of rewriting data. Unlike other library programs, Leabharlann is designed specifically for Irish school requirements. Built in is a process to allow upgrading of classes and classroom changes at the end of each school year.

Pricing: Each purchase includes a site licence.
