Primary Tests is a simple to use application that takes test results.

Primary Tests uses the same pupil database as other SeaSoft applications, so data need not be entered twice. Primary Tests uses the same subject headings as the Revised Curricualum. Up to two other subjects may be added by schools, for example, a foreign language. |  Main Switchboard Form. | |
| To enter marks, click on the Add test results button.

Results must be entered as percentages. However, a calculator is included which will allow input of actual numbers.
Say a History test had 43 questions, and a pupil achieves a score of 27. Click in the History grid cell, bring up the Calculator. Type 27 in the upper panel, 43 in the lower, click Calculate and Close and the percentage appears in the grid. Once closed, the percentage mark (rounded to the nearest whole number) will appear in the grid. | ||

Reports for parents may be printed with either marks, grades or comments. | ||
 Summary reports can be printed for each month, each quarter, and the full school-year. | ||
| At year's end, data is archived for viewing again, while new empty files are in place for another school year. | ||
