Hi All !
This web site has been set up to help a few of us to organise a possible
reunion for our year. Where as we would be known (in school terms) as the Class of
87 we do appreciate that some class mates only did 3 years, some less. Some didn’t
do 5th year in ‘the sem’ so our idea is to try and include all students who were
a part of your sem life, however brief.
The Class pages include the first year photos of each class, with a list of pupils.
The list also includes a ‘few’ extra names that seem to have been in these classes
in a fifth year photo. Some of these names are therefore doubled up between classes
as classes changed etc through the 5 years.
If however there are names missing, please
do contact me asap and I can rectify this.
INTENTIONS
Our intentions are to organise a reunion, hopefully on
Sunday 27th Dec 09. So far the response has been very very positive , which has been
encouraging, and we hope it continues so. As we want this intended reunion to be
a success we want to give everybody as much notice as possible. We appreciate that
for those living abroad etc, holidays would have to be organised around this, if
they intend to come.
Although this probably wont suit everyone, we would hope that
even if someone is home (on holiday from afar) in the mean time that they would contact
us and maybe we can organise for a few ‘locals’ to meet up.
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Nothing much really at the minute, but I suppose to keep it in mind, and if you can come up with any suggestions as to what to do, then please forward them to me.
So far the only suggestion is for us to have a big room with a bar !
We will however
want a commitment, that when a date and venue is set that you either can or can’t
attend. As this is been organised out of a few pockets, we don’t want to have to
foot a huge bill, especially if someone doesn't turn up.
