UPDATE !!!
At long last a date has finally been set.

An informal meeting was held on Saturday 24th January 2009 in Master Deerys, (owned by Fergal Deery 1B1) in Monaghan. In attendance were representatives from each class. Niall Keenan A1, Fabian Murphy A2, Noel Mc Quaid A2, Liam Treanor A2, Vincent Mc Quaid B1, and Kevin Smyth B2. A few others were invited but were unable to attend but have pledged their continued support to our objectives.

At the meeting after some reminiscing, we set about choosing a date. Around Christmas was the most popular time chosen by most. After careful consideration and thought the date picked is ....

Sunday 27th December 2009.

Yes its a Sunday night, but Christmas falls on a Friday this year so picking a Saturday night is harder. Monday however is a Bank Holiday due to Boxing Day falling on a Saturday.

We talked over different options for what to do whenever we all get together, but nothing has been finalised although a free bar was mentioned twice !!!
Anyway, we intend to meet again, hopefully next month to decide on what action we are to take next.

We are still open for suggestions so if you have any please forward them on.

As there are a few fellas still not contacted in each class, we hope that, with a bit of a push, this can be resolved over the next few weeks.

We want to give everybody plenty of notice of this date so those that have to or are intending to organise holidays etc can do so in good time.
