IPS at Ireland Angling Expo 2004    Doors opened for the Ireland Angling Expo 2004 show at 10am Saturday the 21st of February this year. The IPS has had a presence at the show for the last number of years and this year was no exception. From the off there was great interest and support from all angling disciplines for what the IPS does and stands for. Many members renewed membership and also new members joined on the day. There was much interest in our new publication "An Lius" that will be going out to members regularly. An Lius will report on the Irish Pike Angling scene and will contain articles from many pike angling celebrities. Over the two days competitions for tackle and vouchers were run with the biggest draw being the "Guess the Weight" competiton featuring a fabulous pike caught bt Margaret Cook weighing in at 26lb.    Sincere thanks to all who visited the stand and everyone who helped out at the show including Robin and Margaret Cook, Pat Byrne, John Rooney, Pat Walsh, Aidan Smith, Daniel Rooney, Andrew Byrne, Ellen and Sarah Overy, Brendan Taffe, Peter, Aidan McAdam, Matt Hayes and Des Taylor.
