Mark Davies: Mark always brings interesting concertinas with him. Here he is on a 40-key Wilfra made in Aeola style in Sth Africa. More on this unusual tina later.

Mrs Crotty's slow air: Michael Tubridy playing a slow air in memory of Mrs Crotty composed by piper Leo Rowsome. This has not been heard before. It was given to Michael by Leo's daughter Helena.

Neil Wayne's special tina : Neil playing a fabulous tina, one of a pair made by Wheatstones for Peter Pan.

Wilfra reedpan: Reed pan made of Perspex. Has to be seen to be believed · Wilfra: Mark putting the Wilfra through its paces · Wilfra action: Hook and lever action. Note the wooden covered pads · Wilfra inside: Note the cut outs on the sides to accommodate the reeds on the under side of the pan. Bellows is 10 fold.

Gerald Haugh: A stalwart of the west Clare concertina style, playing some lovely tunes on his 38-key C. Jeffries. Pictured in Buggles on Sat 21/8/04. Flanked by Lisa Shields on 30-key Wheatstone Linota and Mark Davies on a rare 38-key John Crabb. Johnny Moynihan, of Sweeney's Men fame, with glasses and fiddle, is in the background.

Tom Carey: Another great stalwart of the West Clare style, in action in Buggles on Sat 22/8/04

Rob & Co: Devon musicians, Rob Murch, Roger Kahn, ably assisted by Jason on P/A. Annie on trombone, Claire Penny on Aeola and Mark Davies on Dipper, provided a splendid session of English country dance music in Crotty's on Sunday 22/8/04.
