Sailing Sessions

Dinghy and Ruffian sessions take place on evenings and weekends. Sessions will be organised based on demand and members preferences and must be booked with the session organiser. Evening sessions start at 6pm. Weekend sessions start at a time decided by the Captain but usually at 11am for the Ruffian and 1.00pm for Dinghies. Members can take part in Dinghy and/or Ruffian sailing.

‘Sailing In Dublin’ is a Club run by its members. Member involvement ensures the smooth running of the Club and assists in maintaining a low and affordable Membership fee. Therefore all members are expected to contribute to the organisation and running of Club activities. Members can contribute by taking part in the main Committee, or in the Sailing, Safety and Maintenance groups, assisting with organisation of social events, helping with boat and general maintenance, update of the web site, Club promotion, producing posters etc. If you have special skills or interest that would contribute to the Club, please indicate below.

Membership Fee for calendar year 2006.

I enclose herewith, a Cheque/Postal order made payable to ‘Sailing In Dublin Club’ for €300. Please note that the membership fee is not refundable.

Special Offer for 2006 : SID members will receive a single subsidy of €50 towards the cost of an approved course if taken during 2006. Please ask a committee member before taking the course if you qualify for the subsidy.

 (Your SID membership fee includes membership of the Irish Sailing Association. see www.sailing.ie for details of the ISA.)
