Magno
SID purchased two new Magnos 2004. These boats are simplicity itself to rig and launch, the fantastic control systems are childs play. The dynamic yet forgiving hull is married to an extremely controllable rig that is perfect for less experienced sailors but will also provide that extra oomph on demand and makes gennaker performance sailing easy. The spacious and comfortable cockpit has a secure and confident feel. As with all Howlett designs stability is reassuring and seasoned sailors will quickly appreciate the pedigree handling, impressive performance levels and high specification fittings throughout. Whether you are a top racer or a newcomer to sailing the Magno allows you to sail at your own pace! More information

Topaz Tres
The Topaz TRES purchased in 2004 has a three sail set-up with a modern, highly advanced rig, fully battened mainsail, a jib and a retracting pole and single-line hoist and drop gennaker system and trapeze. . It is easy to underestimate the sheer exhilaration of sailing the Topaz TRES. Gennaker sailing is a real buzz. When you are out on the trapeze, gennaker launched and fully powered up, few sailing experiences will come close. The Topaz TRES is the perfect introduction to asymmetric sailing. More information

The rescue boat is used for all dinghy sailing sessions and is manned on a rotation basis decided by the captain.
