I do not have a picture of our march in Rathanna. ( Anyone out there have one? )
This was on a very wet evening and as we marched up the hill/ mountain in the pouring rain we took some solace from the fact that our misery was nothing compared to the people who had set out before us to walk the c.50 mile route that Fr. John Murphy and his men had undertaken in 1798 in order to escape the clutches of General Lake.
