Tullow turned out to be enjoyable, despite my apprehension
about the fact that this was the place where Fr. John Murphy and his comrade were tortured
and killed.
There was a big turnout and everything went off very well.
A passer-by is accosted by one of our group (Mick Murphy)
and gladly agrees to share one of the ear pieces of his pocket radio so they can both
listen to the commentary on the GAA match. This obviously takes precedence over the oration in the background.
