Kiltealy is the place where Fr Mogue Kearns was born. As it was he who led the attack on Bunclody I was delighted to lead our group on this very well attended march.

We left the field opposite the school and down the New Ross road to his birthplace where the usual unveiling etc. was performed. We then marched via a back lane/road to Scollagh Gap, where an other fine memorial was unveiled. After the songs and orations we headed back the main road to Kiltealy where we were treated to refreshments in their fine community hall. I then headed for Bowe's Bar to quench my thirst and listened to some nice music performed on an outside stage.
