About Skylight^®

Skylight^® Productions is a Cork-based theatre company formed in November 2002 by Conor Dwane.

The concepts behind the formation of Skylight^® were firstly, the desire to see contemporary drama produced locally and incorporating local talent; secondly, that the pieces we produce should be about people and situations with which our audience can easily identify; and thirdly, that we ought to be proactive in reaching an audience which would not usually consider theatre as an option for a night out.

Skylight^® does not seek to revolutionise the great tradition of participation in and support for local theatre in Cork but seek to become part of that tradition. At the core of the company's philosophy is the desire to deliver quality entertainment to a local audience.

The productions staged by Skylight^® are funded by profits from ticket sales and through advertising. Skylight^® receive no state, arts council or ongoing independent financial support of any kind. If you would like to support a production through sponsorship or advertising, please contact us.
