Conor Dwane

Conor
has worked as a professional actor for over a decade, most recently playing
Randle P. McMurphy in Skylight®'s "One
Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", Prince Hamlet in Skylight®'s "Hamlet, Prince of
Denmark" and Captain Philip Lombard in Skylight®’s “And Then There Were None…”, Bill Sykes in “Oliver”,
Ricky Roma in Skylight®'s “Glengarry Glen Ross”, Mark Anthony at the Granary Theatre
and in the acclaimed period productions “The Constant Wife” and “An Ideal
Husband” at the Everyman Palace.
Conor landed the prestigious lead role of
Hugh O’Neill in the world premier of “The Flight of the Earls”. He has
also played in “The Ha’penny Bridge” at the Cork Opera House and in Declan
Hassett’s “Up the Rebels”. Among his many other credits are Stanley in
“A Streetcar Named Desire”. In 1995 Conor was nominated for Best Supporting
Actor in “Translations”. He has appeared in several pantomimes at the Cork
Opera House as well as numerous short films, radio plays and street theatre.
Conor founded
Skylight®
Productions in November 2002 and made his debut as a stage director with “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark”.
