Just returned from spending a few days with a caravan at
this site. Clean and set amongst picturesque country side with a number of
walking trails close by crossing the local countryside well maintained and
leading into the heart of the country side. Local to mount Errigal, Poison
Glen, Bunbeg Wreck and associate beaches all worthy of exploring and an
about hour’s drive exploring the Wild Atlantic Drive from Slieve League
cliffs a must too. This is a well maintained and serviced site catering to
all needs. There is a close vibrant pub serving beautiful food and a range
of beers where conversation with the locals expands upon the local areas
heritage and knowledge. The owners are friendly and easy going allowing us
to park our car on a free pitch beside the caravan pitch, I got the
feeling nothing would have been too much bother for them. Will definitely
be marking this as a return to place..

"The most beautiful and comfortable campsite" Peter M, Cork, via tripadvisor.ie (see Sleepy Hollows Campsite)
Highly recommend this campsite if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. We stayed in a lovely wooden tent (hut). Much more space than in a tent for two. We had a dog with his large bed inside and still plenty room for bags and other stuff. It has two windows from both sides - therefore there is plenty of light inside. Also two camping lamps provided if you need some light at the night time. We had little wooden table outside (provided by the campsite) where we were having our breakfast. You would need your own gas stove, plates, cutlery. Alternatively, there is a very nice local pub just around the corner (three houses away) - the home of famous musicians Enya and Clannad. In the lounge they serve very nice food for the very good value. Also they have live music every weekend.
Toilets, shower rooms on the campsite are only few steps away from the tent. Very clean. Little kitchen has a large fridge, kettle, toaster. Free Wi-Fi available at the reception, but we could use internet even being in the hut.
Lots of beautiful places are just few miles away. I would highly recommend Salt Drive - the view is amazing. The beach is very close as well.
Overall a very great place to stay!

Dear Mr and Mrs Wilson,
Arrived home in the Netherland again we felt the need to thank you for
your hospitallity. We adored your campsite place in your garden. The Dutch newspaper from the
internet was every morning a nice surprice. And you inspired us to installate a classical
radiostation in our toilet.
We loved your place.

Fantastic Holiday
My wife and our two little girls stayed at Sleepy Hollows over Easter
2008 and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was our first time caravanning and the site
owners Art & Pauline were most helpful in helping us sort out an electrical problem with
our van.
The site is very child friendly, exceptionally clean and the
facilities are excellent.
With pubs and shops close by and being surrounded by beautiful
countryside I honestly think it would be difficult to find a better situated and relaxing site for
either camping or caravanning. We even booked another holiday before we left!
And for any of you with lawns out there take a look at the amazing
automatic lawn mowers that Art sells and uses on the site. They're great wee machines.

This is a truly wonderful site with friendly and helpful
staff, who are welcoming and friendly,, I enjoyed my stay at Sleepyhollows, and I will be back
again, very relaxed atmosphere and close enough to all the amenities , but still far enough away
from the stresses of life, absolutely brilliant caravan and camp site, I would recommend booking
though as I think this undiscovered treasure for all caravan and camping enthusiasts will
become a popular site, as there is so much to do locally, and Leo's and tassies pubs are just
minutes walk away from the site, all I can say to summaries is , absolute bliss.

Dear Art and Pauline,
When we ever come back to Donegal, we will come to your campsite. Although we
realise, that the wonderfull site we had will be impossible to reach because of the new extensions
Art will make on his deck in the near future. Meanwhile we will dream of a new invented lifestyle.
“Living like the gods in Crolly”! Thanks
for your hospitality,Regouin,

We don't know if you remember us, but we stayed on
your lovely campsite from july the 3e until the 7e and we enjoyed it very much, despite the
midges. We celebrated our 33 wedding-anniversery at Leo's and he let us dance and sing a Dutch
song. We like to thank your doughter again for the roses and hope to visit your site in the
future.
In the mean time we are home again and enjoy the
many pictures we made on our trip throughout Ireland.

We visited this campsite in August and had a great time. The free
facilities were great and we enjoyed our first camping trip. The owners provided insect repellent,
which was very handy, especially when putting up the tent, as the midges were everywhere. A lovely
relaxed atmosphere and the pubs were great!

We absolutely loved this site. It is
everything we love small, quiet, peaceful, well maintained and obviously enjoyed by its owners.
There are two pubs within 4-5 minutes walking distance one being the famous Leo's Tavern (home to
Clannad and Enya) where live music is held most evenings in the Summer.
The toilet block is kept wonderfully clean and replenished and has in built audio entertainment. The
kitchen also has several day tours of surrounding areas listed on the wall. For those who are unable
to bear being seperated from UKCampsite.co.uk during their holiday internet access can be arranged.
The beauty of this site is its intimacy so if you want a large site with built entertainment,
clubhouse, pool etc this probably is not the site for you. But for peace to catch up on your reading
and absolutely no fuss and the usual rules give Sleepy Hollows a try. I know we'll be back.
It is so good that if it was closer to home I wouldn't be sharing it with you.
Janet Shipman June 2004 Heather & I have just spent three days at the excellent Sleepy hollow, this a splendid site
the facilities are very good. we were made very welcome by art(who is more than happy to relay
plenty of information on the surrounding area). The local pub's are great, a good welcome in both.
The only down side are the the irrepressible MIDGES who are VERY friendly!!! So pay Sleepy Hollow a
visit you won't be disappointed.
