Lightning captured on outdated Olympus E10:

The above picture was captured in Dun Laoghaire during Irelands unusual lightning season. Whilst visiting a customer Sheldon decided to try and capture the Lightning over Dublin Bay that appeared to be attacking a Ship anchored in the bay. After several attempts at guessing the next strike he struck lucky. A direct hit on the ship and a better than normal hand held 1/15sec @ F4.8. After checking back on the preview window several other trails were noticed and upon arriving back to base Sheldon emailed the image to the daily papers. The "Irish Examiner" agreed to run with it on page 5 of their 23/10/03 edition. Not bad for a 3 year old digital camera.
