We printed for Malahide Camera Club and they won the EPSON's Digital Vision 2003 Competition.

Amongst hundreds of entries, a print printed by Sheldon Photographic won the EPSON's Digital Vision 2003 competition. The judging panel included esteemed photographer Lord Patrick Lichfield; Jon Tarrant – Editor of the British Journal of Photography; Nick Butler – Managing Director of EPSON UK Ltd; along with international digital-picture magazine editors and senior photographers and they chose our print as the World Winner for Camera Clubs.

The competition theme for 2003 was "Locality" and the image depicted Bill Hatch L.I.P.F (Malahide’s Harbour Master and Camera Club member) and was photographed on slide film by Peter Barriscale L.I.P.F a fellow club member while rowing past a disused tugboat that was at one time trapped in the Harbour of Malahide.

The image was scanned by Harry Reynolds L.I.P.F. and brought to Sheldon Photographic for printing. Printed by Sheldon Long using an Epson 2100 Photo Printer with Epson Premium Paper it won best Camera Club print for Ireland, winning the Malahide Camera Club an Epson 2100 printer and then also winning internationally to secure an Epson Pro 7600 Printer as well. Furthermore as one of the first 50 entries received the club also wins an Epson 830 Photo Printer. The total retail value of printers is in excess of 5,500Euro.

It goes to prove that we do indeed practice what we preach and that we are true masters in our craft of:
