Barry Mason Photography in Skerries is our first site for an Imacon Photo scanner operating under "Windows XP". An award winning and internationally acclaimed architectural photographer, Barry Mason selected the Imacon to replace his existing Polaroid 45 scanner. Having given a lot of thought to digital imaging he felt that scanning was the only practical solution for images that would require digital work. The camera movements, the open air studio and indeed the feel and texture of the film meant that the use of a digital camera was simply not possible. Barry and his team tested our demonstration Photo Scanner for a week prior to them ordering it. Interestingly, the scanner pointed out a failure in a particular negative film type that Barry had always felt was present and has led him to use a different type for his architectural image capture.
