  • Attach the Tubing to the Skylight top frame by pulling the tube over the Stainless Steel Ring on the underside of the Skylight Frame. The four Stainless Steel tubes should be bent outward toward through the flexible tubing and bent into a hook shape to hold the wire, be sure that two or three strands of the wire skeleton of the tubing are above the tabs.

  • Wrap around the junction of the Skylight and flexitubing three times with the P.V.C. tape provided, be sure to cover the tabs completely.

  • Remove six to eight roof tiles directly above or nearest point to where light is positioned in room, the less bends in the flexi-tube the more light transferred.
  • Cut Batton and Felt.  Then slide skylight base into position ensure that upper part of metal flashing is under the tiles and the lower portion of the lead flashing is sitting on top of the lower row of tiles.  Use normal manner of flashing appropriate.

  • Replace tiles ensuring that bottom lip of tile is sitting on lead.

  • Fit tabs into black rim of skylight.  In non-vented system fit one vented tab, this will minimise condensation on inside of dome.

  • Remove plastic covering on inner stainless steel rim and fit dome with four grey screws provided.
  • From inside attic measure to the center (between Joists) and tap a small nail through the ceiling from the top.  Then check that you have the correct position for your skylight from inside the room.

  • Using the upstand of the ceiling frame, mark the ceiling with a pencil, ensuring the small nail hole is at the centre.  Then on the ceiling cut along the pencil line with a keyhole saw.

  • Cut flexitube to proper length by measuring from the furthest point from the Skylight, ensure the tubing is stretched to maximise light transmission.
  • Using PVC tape fix stainless steal rim into flexi-tubing leaving 2 inches (51mm) protruding.

  • Insert ceiling frame and fix to ceiling using four long screws provided and flat white tabes on upper side of plaster board.

  • Reach through ceiling hole and pull the stainless steel rim down into the ceiling frame with short brass screws and diffuser holders.  Remove plastic off steel rim.
  • Flex diffuser through ceiling frame and fit into PVC holders.
