While working in Ireland and America, Martina gained experience in orthopaedics, neck, back, neurology, spinal injuries, sports injuries, rehabilitation and work hardening. Martina has travelled abroad with the Irish Davis Cup Tennis Team. She has been involved with the National Coaching and Training Centre in Limerick assisting in flexibility testing of elite athletes. She is also involved in occupational health and pre-employment flexibility screening.

Anne worked in the National Rehabilitation Centre and also as a physiotherapist to Guinness Brewery. She spent six years specialising in orthopaedics and sports injuries in Vancouver, Canada. She returned to Ireland in 1990 and joined Southside Physiotherapy Clinic.

Sinead graduated from the Robert Gordon University in Scotland in 2000 with a 1st class honours degree and the prize for the best graduate on clinical placement. Since graduating Sinead has worked in Australia, Scotland and at St. Vincent’s University hospital in Dublin. Sinead has worked in all areas of physiotherapy and has completed post graduate courses in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitaion. lower limb biomechanics and a manual therapy course in Australia. Sinead has a special interest in sport and orthopaedic injuries. She has worked for numerous sports teams and has travelled throughout Ireland, Scotland, New Zealand as a sports physiotherapist. She is also on the committee for the Chartered Physiotherapists in sports medicine.
Dervla McGurran BSc (Hons)

Since gaining her Bachelor of Science Honours Degree from The University of Ulster, Dervla has gained a wide range of physiotherapy experience. Dervla has worked in Belfast and Dublin, specialising in orthopaedics, out-patients and rehabilitation. She has completed various post graduate courses in areas such as the cervical spine, the shoulder, the sacro-iliac joint, lower limb biomechanics and treatment of sports injuries. Dervla has a particular interest in dynamic stability using kinetic control concepts

Carolyn has a background in Banking for 21 years and following that was a Business Manager in a car retail business. Carolyn joined Southside Physiotherapy in February 2004. Here at Southside Physiotherapy Carolyn is responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the office. Her responsibilities include administering, accounts, liasing with client companies and in general co-ordinating a top-quality professional service.
