For example within a Kingdom of the Order the Governance of the Man of Earth Triad is delegated to the Electoral College, who are thus given the responsibility of governing it's affair and ensuring it runs smoothly. The Electoral College will then appoint Mistresses or Masters to govern Lodges of the Order within a particular region. In this manner a 'chain of Command' is established which allows the Order to function as a unified body, in the same manner as ones physical body works as a co-ordinated unit consisting of Cells, Limbs and a central nervous system. The Importance of Contract in this system is of vital importance, in our opinion there is no such thing as natural equality, each individual is unique, however Contract allows individuals to function as equals on the basis of consensual agreement. For example consider two people with minds of vastly different character who wish to compete against and test each other, they agree to do so based on the rules of a game of Chess, and thus establish an equality, a 'level playing field' by mutual consent. The Order is not a Democracy, (although it does have democratic elements within it's structure) it has been described as being run along the lines of old Pirate ships, the Captain would gather a crew, who would agree to man the ship for a percentage of any loot obtained. If the Captain was doing his job well and had the confidence of his crew, all was well and good, if not he was thrown overboard and someone else took over. We realise that where any power structure exists there is the potential for abuse, the system of the Order is intended to overcome this, for example the individual responsible for the Order in an entire country will have two Revolutionaries appointed whose sole duty is to challenge their every decision and to test them constantly for any sign of weakness , bodily, mental or moral . Any and all officers of the Order can and will be removed from their position if they are deemed to be unsuitable, or incapable. This system also provides a space where an individual with natural leadership qualities is given opportunity for them to develop, it also overcomes the endless doddering of 'democratic' organisations, further still it means that individuals who do hold office within the Order are accountable for their actions. Most importantly our experience has shown that this system works, and provides an effective framework wherein individuals may operate as a co-ordinated unit. |
