MISSION
STATEMENT
Our
mission is to provide a service to enrich and enhance our community.
Our aim is to provide a place in which we can plan for and tackle many of
the needs in our community. This
will be a place of welcome, where the rights of people will be cherished and
respected.
The activities of the centre will be enriching and inclusive to help us
in our development as persons.
We
care that the people working in the Centre will have the opportunity to develop
their own skills while serving the community.

Our Church is changing. We are changing. Our recent Parish Survey clearly identified
the need for our Parish Resource Centre if our Community is to grow and adapt to our
changing needs.
Community is about people. It is about the young and the old. It is about making sure
that everybody is treated as equal, has a sense of belonging, feels welcome and is loved.
Each of us can do our bit on our own lives, but as a Community we can try to ensure that
nobody is left out. We can work together to create a caring community, that reaches out to
everyone in our Parish and beyond.
Our Parish Resource Centre facilitates people of all ages coming together for a variety
of activities; social, personal development, recreational, as well as fulfilling spiritual
and educational needs.
The Centre continues to develop,
thanks to all the hard work that goes on to offer a service to the community.
Why do we need a Parish Centre ?
- It serves a growing Community
- It provides a necessary meeting place for Community Groups
- It contains a Parish Resource and Information Office
- It welcomes and is a place of support for those in need
- It is the centre of Community Activity
- It is our legacy for generations to come
- It gives praise to God

The following are some of the suggested needs that our Centre
addresses:
Young People
A place for young people to be together and provide
youth activities. The activities vary from recreational to educational.
It is hoped to
marshal the talent of all ages, in a changing world.

community. Rainbows, mother and toddler groups, AA, Bereavement, parenting courses,
Vincent de Paul and other existing and new groups.

special needs, marriage enrichment, etc...
