Hmmm... well he's ancient at 800 years old, green, has hair growing in his ears, is about two foot high and is the head of the Jedi Council... During the Clone Wars he hides on Dagobah until Luke makes his grand entrance, crashing his X-wing in the middle of a swamp.

Yoda continues to train Luke from where Obi-Wan left off until Luke runs off to play hero and save some damsel in distress. Luke arrives back on Dagobah to finish his training and finds Yoda on his death bed. Then **poof** Yoda disappears to become one with the Force.
