FLORA & FAUNA IN OUR SCHOOL

3rd class completed the science trail on Monday the 24th of March. We choose flora and fauna as our project.  We felt it complemented the first phase of our dissolving boundaries  project which was 'Precious Memories'. A joint history project about St. Clare's and Annaghmore's schools heritage.

The grounds of the school is a rich habitat for many creatures. We are a green school so we use only use eco- friendly fertilizer and we don't use insecticides.
There are many natural habitats such as the pond, the wild flower garden and the compost heap in the school grounds.
