We love Hallowe’en here at St. Columba’s! Hallowe’en is a good excuse to dress up, learn about
past and present customs and have fun while doing it! Some classes did the
traditional apple-bobbing, Ms. Geaney’s made striking carnival masks, and Ms.
Clayton’s class had a SPOOKY cake sale. We particularly enjoyed eating all
the delicious cakes and they raised €380 to be shared between the Peter Lynch
fund and Marymount Hospice. It was a great success. The young “witches in
training” even enjoy the up-to-date facilities in our IT room! The school looked suitably “scary” with Hallowe’en
themed windows and displays everywhere! |
