We are delighted to announce that we have put together our seed ordering scheme for members for the second year running, following on from the success of last year's scheme. We have adjusted the range of vegetables, following requests for additions such as kale, spinach and herbs. As you can see, they are still good value compared to shop-bought packets. They are high quality seeds with a good germination rate. They have a good holdover period, i.e. the vegetables stay ripe on the plant for 2-4 weeks.
We have also added seed potatoes as they went well when we tried some last season. Please note, these will not arrive at the same time as the packet seeds as they come from a different supplier with a different delivery schedule. Varieties may not be exactly as listed depending on eventual availibility.
If you would like to avail of this offer, please could you post the seed order form (available to download at the end of this page) and payment to arrive on or before 7th December. We will then be in touch with you in the New Year about collection/distribution arrangements. We would be grateful if you would take the time to fill in the compost survey below as well.
If you would like to become a member to avail of this scheme, please download and fill in the membership form in the Contact section of this website and return it with your completed seed order as directed.
If anyone has difficulty in opening either form please email us at sdaa@eircom.net and we'll post you out a hard copy. It usually helps to save the file onto your computer first, then open your word processing programme and then open the file.
