THE GREEN  COMMITTEE

  Our school organised a green Committee.  A few girls from each class were on the green Committee.  Each month 2 girls wrote the minutes of each month.  Here is a sample of the minutes for the month of April.

 

                            APRIL

Newsletter to be sent out.  Remind children to keep wrappers from easter eggs and break down packaging.  Organise a Sweepathon to launch Spring clean work.  Children from 6^TH class involved.  Mrs Mc Crohan will have a practise on Friday.  Sweepathon on Monday morning at 9:30,  Children to start at church and go as far as courthouse.  Litter round moves to 2^ND class.

The Green Committee  

I was a secretary on the green committee.  I enjoyed going to meetings and listing to what went on in the meetings.  It was a good experience for me because I had to organise my ideas and remember what went on in the meetings.  I wrote it out roughly and then I brought it home and corrected all my mistakes.  I hope the school can manage to keep the Green flag.                                                                           Johanna C.
