Board of Management:

The school Board of Management is responsible for the direct government of the school and the appointment of teachers subject to the minister's approval.

The board consists of:

• Two nominees of the patron, the Galway County Association for Mentally Handicapped Children.
• Two elected parents or legal guardians of children enrolled in the school, one being a mother, the other a father.
• One elected teacher.
• The principal
• Two further persons nominated by the above six.

The members of the current board, elected in October 2003, will serve until 2006.
