The Haunted House

It was the night of Halloween, the 31st of October. I had to stay with my friends Alan and Ronan for the weekend.

We went over to a haunted house to see what was in it. When we went into the house, we went upstairs to see if there was anything in the rooms. Then we went back downstairs to see if there was anything in the kitchen. Alan fell downstairs and hurt his head and all the blood came out.

We went into the kitchen to get some paper to wipe his head. When we went out to open the door. It must have been locked. When we looked at the stairs all of the blood was gone.

“There must be a ghost in the house”, I whispered in a shaky voice.

But how were we going to get out?  We stood silently trying to think of a way to get out of this strange house.

Eventually Ronan spoke.

“I have an idea.   We will have to go and see if there is a side door. If so, we could try and kick it down”.

It worked we ran out of the house.

We let out a huge squeal of delight and ran all the way back to Alan’s house.

When we arrived, we all let out a huge sigh of relief.

We were so lucky to get out alive.
