This is a short history of Our Choir

St. Molaga's school choir was founded in 1992. The choir is made up of children from all classes in St. Molaga's school. The choir sings every year at Christmas and Confirmation. In November 2006 the children sang at the Drogheda Youth Choral Festival where they came second in the Under 13's section. They were praised for their "excellent projection, discipline and diction". The choir won this competition previously in 2000 and 2004.

Other memorable performances include "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" in 1994, Handel's "Messiah" in 1995, "Jonah and the Whale" in 1996 and "The Lion King" in 1997.

From 1996-2004, children from the choir recorded all the songs in the Catholic "Alive- O" programme. Their voices are heard daily by school children all over the country.
