Christmas Decoration Competition
The Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government ran a "Race Against Waste" Decoration Competition. The children had to use household rubbish to make Christmas decorations- old egg boxes, bottles, cans, bottle corks, paper, broken toys, pizza boxes etc. Using plenty of imagination they produced some lovely decorations. The winning decoration from each school will decorate the Christmas Tree in the Fingal County Council Headquarters in Swords.
