Balbriggan Credit Union held a creative writing competition for the local primary schools.

It was confined to the fifth classes in each school.

The children had to write a story entitled

"Why I want a loan"

We had five winners, including the overall winner.

Prize giving was held on 26th of January in the Credit Union building.

The children received the generous prizes and the school also received a

€500 voucher for computer software from the Credit Union.
