Credit Union Quiz

I was on the Credit Union Quiz team this year. My name is Jamie. Róisin, Glen and Daniel were on my team as well. I arrived first and waited downstairs. Róisin came a few minutes later and we went upstairs. Then Daniel arrived and sat down. Glen was last to come. Soon after the quiz started.

There were a good few rounds and the questions got harder as the rounds went on. There were also two extra rounds for the older teams. The questions were tough. In the end our team and another team had a tie-break round for second place and we won. We came second. I really enjoyed myself.

Credit Union Quiz

The Credit union quiz was on Saturday the 27th of January at 3.00 p.m. Representing our team was me-Conor, Niall, Daire and Callum. We were very well prepared. It was a very big day for the four of us. There were six questions in every round, ten rounds for the Junior teams ("Us") and twelve rounds for the seniors. I am in Mr.Gorman's class, Niall is in Ms.Brennock's class, Daire is in Ms.Mc Mahon's class and Callum is in Ms.Sedgewick's classroom.( Just to tell you whose class we're in).

So all the schools in The Balbriggan area competed to win and have the right to say "We are the Champions". We came in second place, beaten by one point. We were so unlucky. Everybody got a tenner in an account in the Credit Union and a 20 Euro book voucher.
