A Native American visited our School
David is from the U.S.A he is a native American. It took an hour to get ready. He can’t drink before a powpow. He can speak Cheyenne and English. He said that feathers are holy. He did lots of dances for us. Tyrone and I had to dance. At the end he said see you soon in his own language.

A Native American visited our School
He told us his name his name is David . He told us about where he lived he lived in the U.S.A. in Montana. He is a native American and he said hello in his own language. He did a very old dance called a pow pow. It was a very good dance. It was a really good experience. He was wearing a bone necklace. He was wearing a lot of feathers. I was sitting beside Philip and Gregory. We went up to dance. We had to go up and dance, so we did. Then he said I will see you in a while.

A Native American visited our School
Today I met a native American. He was raised in Montana. His tribe was called Cheynne. He had a lot of respect for the women and their elders. He had a hawk’s wing on a stick and I learned that they are not so different from us. They wear the same things. They are holy because they can’t drink beer the night before wearing the religious clothes. The men would sacrifice their own lives for their family. They have their own language, songs and dance steps.

The class went to the P.E hall. When we got there we sat down. We danced in a circle it was fun. Then we sat back down. David had claws on his back. He is from the U.S.A. His face was painted and around his neck were small bones and a few feathers. He lived in Montana. They look after women.

David is from Montana in the U.S.A. and Gemma is from Ireland but she looks like an Indian and she is a very nice woman. David came to our school today and he had Indian clothes on and they were nice. He said really nice things and he danced. He had hawk wings and hawk claws. Gemma had nice clothes and she danced like she was walking but it was great
