In May 2000 fifth class along with our teacher were involved in a local history project. This was an experimental exchange project between teachers and pupils from a number of Northern Ireland Primary Schools and National Schools in the Republic of Ireland. The initiative for the project came from the Department of Education and Science in Dublin and the Southern Education and Library Board in Armagh. The Marino institute of Education acted as a facilitator for the project in the Republic of Ireland.
We studied Bremore Castle, Bath Road, The Martello Tower and St. Molaga.
