ST.Patrick’s day

ST.Patrick’s day,

Is a special day,

Some people go to Mass and pray,

And others go to the parade and play,

ST.Patrick sailed from Wales,

So that was the tale,

Everyone enjoys ST.Patrick’s day,

So give him a big hip hip hooray.

ST Patrick

ST Patrick was a Welsh man,

Irish Pagans came and took him with strain,

Up in Ireland he worked as a farmer,

And they beat him with canes.

As he was asleep one night God spoke,

He said "Go to the river and you will get home,"

So he went down and sailed away,

And his own people greeted him.

One night back in Wales God said to him,

"Ireland needs you Patrick" Said his Lordship,

So he sailed back off to Ireland,

And became a high Bishop.

ST Patrick

ST Patrick is the man,

Who came to Ireland,

He got the snakes out of Ireland,

He was a great man,

So he brought Christianity,

Into Ireland.

ST Patrick

On a cold and lonely mountain side

A long long time ago

A young boy minded pigs and in a land he did not know

He spent long and hungry days working alone

He prayed to God and hoped that soon

He could go back home

He had a dream of going home

And to Wexford he made his way

He got on a boat and sailed away

But knew he would return some day.
