THE QUIZ

It was the 5^th of February '05, a Saturday. The Credit Union Quiz was on and it was a big day. On my team, there were four people, Thomas , Mark , Ciarán and myself Paul .

We had to wear our school uniforms. It was on in the Milestone and I was the first to show up. I sat down and then Ciarán came and sat beside me. Thomas and Mark soon came after, then the quiz started.

The first round was really easy. Each of us were smart in our own way. After the fourth round the questions got tricky. We got nearly every question right but some were hard. We were doing really well.

After six rounds we had a five minute break and we were talking to the other teams. When the break was over we went back to our table. The questions were really hard in round seven. We agreed on each question and we got through it. We got a lot of questions right and not many wrong.

After that round they called out the winners. It turned out to be a tiebreaker between ourselves and St.Teresas. There were three questions in the tiebreaker. In the end the other school won. We were disappointed but Mr O Toole declared us joint first.

The Quiz Team

It was the fifth of February. We were at a Quiz. We all had to wear our uniforms. There were four on our team Philip , Alan , Sinéad and me Sean.

The Quiz was held in the Milestone. It was run by the Credit Union. The first six rounds were easy. We had a five-minute break after the first six.

We walked around talking to the other teams during the break. After the break we had to sit through another six rounds.

There were six questions per round. We came fourth out of seven senior teams. We didn't get any Trophies or vouchers.
