School Time
Summer's gone, no time to play,
Save it for another day,
My very first day in S.L.D.,
I've mixed up feelings inside of me.
Sometimes school was hard before,
But now I'm learning more and more,
At first I wasn't good at Maths,
But now I've learnt all the traps!
I had my doubts about my reading,
But in the end I am succeeding!
Homework was a hated hour,
But now I know I have the power!
Two years later, mainstream calls,
It's time to go and join them all,
Thank you so much Mrs.O Toole,
For helping me to enjoy school.
I don't know yet what I will be,
But I'll be the best, just you wait and see.
