SCHOOL CREST
| The crest is the
Meath Diocesan Crest. Initially there were seven dioceses in County
Meath but this was subsequently reduced to just three:
1) Duleek 2) Clonard 3) Trim The three mitres (Bishops' hats) shown on the crest represent the three dioceses of Meath. The Latin words on the crest "In Christo confido" translated into English mean "In Christ we trust". Bishop Rochford, the first Bishop of Meath, is buried at Newtown, Trim.Bishop Michael Smith, a native of Oldcastle, is the current Bishop of Meath. St. Patrick's -
