French Tour '99

| In February 1999 some staff
and students of St.Patrick's Classical School visited Paris. The three-day
schedule was made up of visits to sites of historical and geographical
interest.
The tour took in historic buildings and museums such as the Louvre, Musee D'orsay and famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysee. The touring party also travelled to the Champagne Region and witnessed at first hand the exciting process of wine making. Exhausted after three vigorous days spent sight seeing, the tour then moved on to Disneyland, Paris for the fourth and final day. Foreign trips are commonplace for students of 'St.Pats'. The past has witnessed trips to Germany and Italy and a skiing holiday is organized annually. The hard work of the organizing teachers makes these trips both popular and enjoyable and their efforts are much appreciated. |
