A
visit to Swan Island Open Farm is a real treat for all the family with both
rare and traditional farm animals to see and feed. We have many activities
to keep children entertained including a play area, and of course, our own
restaurant, Davy’s Cottage where a cup of tea or coffee and a sandwich
or cake are always on hand.
A feature of Swan Island
Farm is the 200-year old Davy's Cottage. Davy's Cottage Restaurant is an integral
part of Swan Island. It has a very intimate ambience and equally has that
friendly homely feel that is only to be found where you know that you are
welcomed with a warm fáilte.The Restaurant is open all year round from
6.00pm with an extensive A La Carte Menu and an impressive Wine list
from round the world. Our Chef Sandra has trained in Killybegs Catering College
one of Irelands' finest.

We cater for Riverbus Cruises and BBQ parties, Birthday parties; Christmas
Parties with live entertainment, School tour Packages, Senior Citizens dayouting
etc.
We
are open all year round and cater for groups of all ages including birthday
parties, school groups and in combinatioin with our restaurant, Davy’s
Cottage, we also cater for Office outings.

A floating jetty at the farm ensures secure and easy mooring for cruisers.
With over 3,000 sq.ft undercover, you can enjoy the farm in any weather. Enjoy
a different experience in tranquil surrounds. Swan Island will surprise and
delight you whatever your age.The Open Farm is open from Easter to October,
from 11.00am to 6.00 pm. And re-opening throughout December for the magical
Santa's visits. Our Lakeside Restaurant is open all year round with special
emphasis on Parties
