Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky Illinois on the 12th of February 1809. He was the
16th president of the United States, serving from 1861 until he was assassinated in 1865.
He was shot dead by John Wilkes Booth in Ford’s Theatre Washington D.C. He died
the next morning. He was the president of the United States during the American Civil War.
He died on the 15th of April 1865. The death of Abraham Lincoln was the first
assassination of a U.S president. Lincoln has been remembered as one of the greatest U.S
presidents of all time. Lincoln’s wife Mary’s parents didn’t want her to marry him
because he had a poor backround.
