O’Loughlin Cup

An improved team effort from Taghmon-Camross was key to a win over Duffry Rovers in the O’Loughlin cup minor football on Sunday January 24. Taghmon trailed by 4 points with 5 minutes to go but fought back with 1-2 in the last few minutes to win by 2-6 to 0-11. Best for Taghmon were Shane Fox, Eoin Leacy, Michael O’Gorman, Eoin Morrissey, Jonny Waters and Darren Colfer. The scorers for Taghmon-Camross were J. Kelly (1-1), P. Doyle (1-0), E. Leacy (0-1), E. Morrissey (0-1), J. Waters (0-1), T. Fox (0-1) and S. McDonnell (0-1).

Lotto Win

Congratulations to Bridie Kelly of Main St., Taghmon who scooped £4,700 jackpot in the club Lotto draw on Wednesday last. The winning numbers were 3,5,10,11. There were 27 match 3 winners who each receive £10. The next draw takes place on Wednesday next (February 3) in Denis Morrissey’s, Cassagh. The jackpot is £2,000.
