Taghmon/Camross had a good victory over Clongeen in the U-21 Hurling championship last Saturday and qualify to play Geraldine-O'Hanrahan's in the next round. The scorers were Joe Doyle (1-5, 0-4 from frees), Gearóid Kelly (1-1), Shane Coady (1-0), Micheál O'Grady (1-0), Adrian Morrissey (0-1), Jonathon Waters (0-1). Man of the match was David Banville who played very well in several positions.

Wasteful shooting cost Taghmon/Camross dearly in the Stafford League quarter final against Marshalstown-Castledockerel losing by 0-8 to 1-3 in Oylegate on Sunday. Best for Taghmon/Camross were Eddie Cousins, Eoin Leacy, Jonathon Waters (1-1), Darren Colfer and Martin Coady. Adrian Morrissey and Shane McDonnell scored the other points.
