Taghmon/Camross GAA Club Notes, 10 July 2000
Hurling
The Intermediate hurling team won the Division 2B final against Clonard in Oylegate on Sunday. The score was 3-11 to 0-6 (HT 1-7 to 0-3). The Taghmon/Camross performance was very convincing in a game played in difficult wet conditions. The performance was helped by the return of Martin Hogan from honeymoon. He scored a magnificent goal. One dark cloud was a serious hand injury sustained by Nicolas Cousins. The scorers for Taghmon/Camross were Robbie O'Callaghan (0-6, all frees), Bernard O'Gorman (1-2), Martin Hogan (1-1), Derek Breen (1-0), Adrian Morrissey and Jonny Waters (0-1).
